Playback Magazine (Verne as Joey) Joey Skaggs had a contract with the Voyager Company to create a CD ROM with producer Ron Mann, a Canadian filmmaker. When Playback Magazine, Canada's broadcast and film production trade magazine, contacted Skaggs to do an article about it, Skaggs sent them some previous clippings of his work with no photos; a photograph of Verne Williams, his star Bad Guy; and a Stan Mack "Real Life Funnies" cartoon from the Village Voice about Skaggs' SEXONIX hoax. Skaggs had whited out his own character in the cartoon, and drawn in one to resemble Verne. (Check out the original cartoon on the SEXONIX page).
Unfortunately, Voyager discontinued production of innovative CD ROM's before the project was completed.
